Project Description: The project will expand the water system capacity to serve both new and existing customers, improve reliability with new equipment, reduce the burden on operators with fully automated systems, improve energy and water efficiency and provide redundancy with the addition of the second well. The benefit to the community includes a modern, reliable, safe and secure drinking water system that will support population growth and economic development for the next 20 years.
Project ID: Water Service Line Replacement Project
Project Type: City of Donald Construction
Project Description: About 150 water service connections constructed with copper material have been identified. These lines are prone to corrosion and pitting in the soil, which leads to water leaks. To proactively address the problem and improve the reliability of the water system, the City will be replacing these lines.
Project Status: Phase 1 of the project began in the Country Oaks Estates neighborhood. Work in this area will allow the City to begin addressing the most immediate concerns while establishing an efficient process for replacing the remaining service lines throughout the community.

Project Description: Harvest Gardens is a planned community and working farm that will be located on the SE corner of Donald's City limits. A variety of lot sizes and housing types are provided that are intended to accommodate a mix of home sizes and plans, appealing to a broad range of future residents and the local workforce. Cost & Funding: Total estimated cost to construct: $62.5 million
Project Description: Approximately 32,000 vehicles use Exit 278 Aurora-Donald or travel past the ramps entering and exiting I-5. The volume of traffic, proximity of roads and access points and visibility issues cause congesting and safety concerns around the interchange. Phase 1A addressed some of these issues.

Phase 2 constructs the full diverging diamond interchange. This addresses the capacity issues by building an interchange that will work for years to come. The estimated schedule for construction is 2024-2027.
