Donald, OR - Tree City, USA

Tree City USA is a national recognition program from the Arbor Day Foundation that certifies communities for having a strong commitment to urban forestry. To achieve this status, a community must meet four core standards annually: having a tree board or department, a tree care ordinance, an urban forestry program with at least a $2 per capita budget, and an Arbor Day observance. The program provides a framework for cities and towns to manage and expand their public trees. Donald was recognized as a Tree City USA in 2021.
